Terms of Use
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Chirag Arora, who publishes Voltkit under the name Chiaro Apps ("we", "us"). They cover the Voltkit website at https://voltkitapp.com. By using the site you accept them; if you don't, please don't use it. The Voltkit app has its own terms of service, which include its licence agreement (EULA).
What the site is
Free web calculators for electrical work under the NEC 2023, worked-example guides, and information about the Voltkit app. No account is needed and nothing is sold on the site.
The calculators are reference aids, not the code
The calculators and guides follow the NEC 2023 and are checked against the printed tables, but a result is only as good as the inputs and assumptions behind it, and they can be wrong or not fit your situation. They don't replace the code edition and local amendments adopted where you work, the decisions of the authority having jurisdiction, manufacturer instructions, or the judgement of a licensed electrician. Nothing on the site is professional advice. Check a result before you rely on it for design, installation or inspection.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it suits any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the site's results, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability, or any consumer right, that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Don't:
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it;
- scrape or copy the site's content in bulk to republish it;
- use the site to send malicious code or to impersonate anyone.
Intellectual property
The site's text, calculators, code, design, diagrams and the Voltkit name and logo belong to Chiaro Apps. You may use the calculators and share links to any page; don't reproduce the site's content without permission. The National Electrical Code is the copyright of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The site cites NEC sections by number and doesn't reproduce NFPA text or tables. NEC® and National Electrical Code® are registered trademarks of the NFPA, which isn't affiliated with Voltkit and doesn't endorse it.
Links to other sites
The App Store and Google Play buttons and some references link to sites we don't control. Their terms and privacy policies apply there, and we aren't responsible for their content. Downloading the app is governed by the store's terms and the app's own terms.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms. When the terms change, we update the date at the top; using the site after that means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and can bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.
